SANDALS ROYAL CARIBBEAN, Montego Bay, Jamaica - We came back from Jamica and we had a great time! Thank you for your recommendation! Jamaica is a great place. Very nice people and beautiful country. Our stay at Sandals Royal Caribbean was very pleasant, we went out to Montego bay twice, once to a seafood restaurant, Mrguerites, very, very nice but not cheap and once to Sandals Inn where the atmosphere was great, food delicious and staff very nice. We also went to Dunn's River Falls and we liked it very much.The only term of comparison we have is Mexico. We may be biased because Mexico was our first caribbean destination and we fell in love with it. Objectively, though, we believe that the quality of service, especially when reported to the price, is superior in Mexico. But we did have a wonderful vacation and a great time. COUPLES SWEPT AWAY, NEGRIL, Jamaica - Yes it was great this time with no problems except for the normal air travel delays. This was our best Couples Swept Away experience yet since we are familiar with the resort. We were also pleasantly surprised with many free comps for the spa and gift shops for being repeat customers. Lynn and I are now debating the next trip...I kind of want to see something different and she wants to go back to CSA. We have another year to sort that out. (My hope is we might be able to find a little less expensive resort and go more often but we are really spoiled with the CSA experience and how friendly and attentive the staff is and no extra costs for anything). Thanks again for all your help in making sure CSA got it right!!

RIU NEGRIL, Jamaica - Hey Hilary, our trip went very smooth (flights,check-in,shuttles,funjet associates,resort).  I am sending a view from our room.  Resort very nice, got to take a walk along the beach to see some of the other places(tropical,sandals,breezes, NO HEDO though boo) beaches were a little nicer to the west but no biggy for the extra money, took a boat ride to ricks cafe (awesome) took a cab to margaritaville nice little beach bar.   Had a great time.  Thanks again

LAS BRISAS IXTAPA - We got room 1918.  It was the same room as last year.  We were happy with that.  It is on the right floor just two doors down.  We had nice time.  Weather was perfect and it was very relaxing.  We didn't drive home that night it was late and we were cold so we got a room at the Clarion.  We will stay there next time for the Park 'n Ride.  It is a decent place and the price is so much better than the Courtyard we usually stay at.Thanks for all of your help. SANDALS GRANDE OCHO RIOS - I can't thank you enough for helping us with our honeymoon. We had a great time! It is so beautiful there and everyone at sandals was so helpful and considerate.  It was definately a memorable vacation.  Our room was fabulous too!  We even got a reservation at a restaurant that was supposedly all booked up for the week.  Thanks to you, the director of guest services called our room to see how our vacation was going. I said that we were looking forward to going to "Kimonos" (the hibatchi place) but that we weren't able to get a reservation there because they were booked until the day we left.  She said "No problem, I'll get you a reservation and let you know when it is." The next afternoon, while we were relaxing in the pool, she stopped by our villa and left us our reseravtion for the restaurant. :) It was perfect, thank you so much.  Mandy & Ryan

GRAND PINEAPPLE BEACH NEGRIL & SANDAL'S DUNN'S RIVER - The trip went good and there may still be a outside chance for Sandals Dunn's River to get a new lease.  We hope so as we said goodbye to some good friends on the staff.  Beaches was nice and we liked Negril and wanted to let you know they hired a car to take us to Dunn's River.  Made the trip from Negril to Ocho Rios in about 2.5 hrs.  Beaches told us they are an all inclusive and they would get the car and that they no longer do the ground to ground transfers at the airport.  So that was great!!  Also we really like the Holiday Inn Express in Belleville.  It was only 9 miles and less than 10 minutes to the airport.  The day manager Steve was great and could not have been more gracious so I would not hesitate to refer other customers there.  We did end up missing our plane from Atlanta to Detroit, tried standby for the last flight to Detroit, slept the night at the Atlanta Airport and caught a flight from Atlanta to D.C. to Detroit yesterday morning.  Had some weather delays along the way and got into at 3:45.  That was an experience I would like to have only once!!  Anyway, wanted to let you know about the park and fly and the car.  Thanks for all of your effort on behalf of our vacation!!    Bill

 

RIU NEGRIL - WE LOVED JAMAICA!!  Will definitely go back!  Our resort was the Riu-Negril and it was Great!!  The bay was beautiful and we could walk the beach.  Actually we never even left the resort. I wanted to go to Negril and walk the 7 Mile beach but just never made it. I didn't even mind the bus ride to the resort. The food was delicious. I think what we liked also was that you could drink the water and not worry about it.  My only regret was that we didn't take our girls!!  Maybe next year or the next!  Thank you so much for the extra time spent this year on making our vacation become reality!!  It just all seemed to work out. Thanks again and we'll be in contact for the next trip....whenever that may be? ALLEGRO RESORT COSTA RICA  - We had a great time in Costa Rica!  Traveled the country side and enjoyed!  Spent one day in Nicaragua and thought that was the highlight of the excursions and well worth the money spent on the trip( and another stamp on the passport)  Of course the time we went was off season so the resort was pretty much ours!  One minor glitch when we got there, they gave us a room with double beds and towards the back-I went right to the manager and told them I did pay for upgrade and was pleasantly pleased when he moved us right away to a very decent king size room with a balcony overlooking the pool!  I wouldn't recommend the trip to Arenal Volcano just because we mostly paid for food- the volcano was seen from a distance not that great-the trip to the volcano in Nicaragua was amazing- went right to the top and looked over the rim it was smoking the whole time and they recommend only 20 mins. at the place because of the fumes-- Now, that was a great trip!   We loved Costa Rica and the weather was PERFECT!  Had to wear flip flops by the pool the cement was so-o-o hot! SANDAL'S DUNN"S RIVER VILLAGIO RESORT & SPA  - The trip/wedding was fantastic:) I loved the resort and loved the staff working there!  They were so kind and accommodating!  I think everyone had a really good time.  When we arrived, Charlie was slightly disappointed in our room because the view was of the neighboring hotel and the backside of our resort.  I spoke with Florence our concierge and she had us moved the very next day. Our view from the second room was incredible!  Stacy (our wedding lady) is so good at her job. She was funny, kind, and very well organized.  She made sure everything went perfectly! The rehearsal dinner and cocktail reception they threw for us was great. The dinner was held in the lawn near the gardens. The tables were candle-lit, food was so good, we had our own butlers and our own bar! I was truly impressed. The entire group kept telling me how well I had planned everything, and yet I hadn't done a thing!!! I loved the entire week and owe you a huge thank you. Thanks for putting everything together, answering my many questions, and dealing with my whole family! You helped make our wedding day and vacation so very special for Charlie and I.  We would go back in a heartbeat! THANK YOU!  love, meg

 

 

DREAMS PUERTO VALLARTA -Michael and I got back late last night from our Puerto Vallarta trip, where we had an exceptionally wonderful time. The Dreams resort was beautiful, and we LOVED staying in the Preferred tower. You were right, it was absolutely worth the minor upgrade fee. Just the bathtub alone would have been worth it! We spent most of our time at the hotel, only venturing into the city once. We had gorgeous weather: 95, sunny, and clear for the most part. The highlight of the trip was getting to participate in the turtle release our first night there. It was such a cool experience to hold the baby turtles before letting them begin their journey to the sea. Our travel was smooth and easy; everything was on time and orderly. Leslie, we truly appreciate your help and guidance as we planned this trip. You were an amazing resource, and we look forward to using your services again in the future! Emily & Michael
